Well, Derek's appetite has improved a bit. You must have been praying. They decided to send him home today, and that goal was just now accomplished. We are HOME! The PET scan results, however, are not good. This last round of treatment may have slowed the growth of the tumor masses in his neck and face, but it did not stop them. They are slightly larger now than they were a month ago and very active still. This is not the news we were hoping for, but we will trust that God is still walking with us and will give us strength for each day. We will see what God will do.
