Watching someone suffer whom you love must be one of the most difficult things in the world. He was so brave and fought so hard. And we were together, because no one should fight alone. We were together, because in the midst of the fighting, there was also resting, being, enjoying. There was love. And there was hope, because you can go through anything together.
One Bible promise has given me courage and hope
and faith throughout our long, painful journey. It is a promise for now, any
time, all time. "For He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you or
forsake you'" (Hebrews 13:5). This
world is not fair. He is here. It is difficult, even impossible. He is here. It
is dark and depressing. He is here. It is filled with joy and laughter, tears
and weeping. He is here. It is terrible and beautiful. He is here. It is
troubling and confusing. He is here. It is heartbreaking and heartwarming. He
is here. There is no circumstance we can encounter where God is not here, with
us. Together. And there is still hope, because it is possible to go through
anything together.

Having had my mother live with us during her time in hospice, I can relate a bit, and confirm that this is true. God will provide what we need for the particular situation. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, even tonight. Julio Narvaez and family
I am so thankful for your spirit of acceptance.
You, while you are very sad and lonely for your son, can also cheer and encourage others.
God's love is true.
Such a touching picture of 4 hands held together for the last time.
